old school games on new school systems

Thank you WII for making the virtual console and bringing all our classic mario games back to us. Yes i got the feather again woo I'm raccoon Mario (smb3).

Yeah, and they didn't even 'enhance' the games! YAY!

Yay we get games that were from the 80s and 90s! Well i think i will get Super mario rpg for it and thats it.

I don't mind simple graphics updates, such as less pixelation and stuff like that, but I don't really like it when they rerelease the game with totally different graphics. It kinda ruins the retroness. ;-;

I have SMB and SMB3, and I got SMB3 free because of that whole internet channel thing earlier on this year. SMB3 is seriously addictive, and although I'm still only on the World 2 castle, it's a lovely improvement on the first 2. Some levels are so simple, and then some are extremely difficult to master.

BTW, the feather is from SMW and gives a cape, not SMB3 with a raccoon tail. Just sayin.

On the old-school games, do they add levels or is everything the same? I had a really old GBA, and then I updated the the Gameboy colour, and I had tetris classic for the black and white one and a tetris for the colour one which is meant to be "the exact same one" (except obviously colour) and they added all sorts and messed with the levels and layout yuck!

Exact same. Only difference is controls.
