super mario wii world 2-3

Iv seen on youtube how you are to jump on the turtle as he comes down the stairs to get the 99 lives, but im having a hard time getting the timming right. any easier wat to get 99 1'up's??

I have the same problem. I've seen a vid in NSMB DS where you grab a Koopa with a Fire Flower and then get on the staircase, then wait for him to get out and hurt you. While you blink fire/super, rapidly hit the jump button and You'll go Turtle Tipping. Here's A video. It's not the one I saw, but it's still pretty smiler. I'm not sure if it works in Wii though, my disk got messed up.
